What do I do when I receive a job offer?

If you are currently working, before accepting any offers ensure that you have the official employment offer in writing.

Ensure that you have negotiated the offer and are in agreement with all of the terms before accepting.

If you decide you are accepting the offer, always prepare a proper resignation letter and provide this to your current employer.

When you leave your current employer, always try to leave on good terms - you do not want to burn any bridges and you may need to use your previous employer as a reference in the years to come.
