Our client, a leading Manufacturing Company in Vaughan is currently seeking a Cell Leader to join their team
Position: Cell Leader (Contract position)
Location: Woodbridge, On
Salary: TBD
Responsibilities:
- Planning for and meeting daily, monthly and quarterly target numbers.
- Managing process issues.
- Heavy emphasis on Lean Manufacturing
- Taking ultimate responsibility for workcell product quality.
- Initiating process / productivity improvements.
- Workcell metric collection, analysis and improvement actions.
- Quality assurance program maintenance.
- Close contact to materials department to ensure raw material requirements are met.
- Feeding of information\\\'s to engineering as it relates to quality, RMAs and product build improvements.
- Ownership of On-Time deliveries, Monthly sales targets, Product Quality, Health and Safety.
- Lead and coach Workcell in team building, generous listening, open communication and coworker respect.
- Coach workcell team in standard manufacturing practices.
- Team member yearly reviews and setting of individual objectives.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree and/or diploma or equivalent
- Must have 4+ years as production or team lead within an electronics/electrical environment
- Team management, sis sigma, JIT & lean manufacturing
- Leadership/coaching skills
- Team builder and motivator
- Excellent communication skills
- Professional and outgoing mentality
