Our client, a leading Industrial Manufacturing Company in Mississauga, ON is currently seeking a Director of Operations to join their team.
Position: Director of Operation
Location: Mississauga, On
Salary: $120,000 - $135,000
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate variety of filling and packaging machines
- This individual will report directly to the owner and will have 3 regional managers that will report to this role
- responsible for the Canadian and USA manufacturing plants
- Set and monitor Operational budgets
- Ensure the Operations business continuity and recovery requirements are met
- Ensure all policies and procedures relating to the Operations are appropriate to the business and operational needs of the organization.
- Make senior level case work decisions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Must have 10 years management experience in a unionized manufacturing environment
- Experience with multiple plant management
• Engineering degree preferred
- Excellent planner; Excellent troubleshooter; Excellent communicator, leader and motivator
- Experience with budgeting, strategic planning, plant expansions, etc.
• Professional and positive approach
- Self motivated
- Strong in building relationships and able to communicate at all levels
- Team player, and able to work on own initiative.
