| Position: Operations Manager - reports to Plant Manager
Location: Prince George, BC (proximity) Salary: $100,000 plus benefits - will pay higher for direct Chemical Experience Relocation: Provided The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance as well as hourly production staff on a day to day basis. They will be responsible for maintaining a safe, environmentally responsible and cost effective operation. Ensuring production and maintenance personnel are trained and competent in safe operating procedures, plant safety and environmental procedures, potential health and safety hazards and emergency response. Providing leadership to the production/maintenance team including regular inspections of the work areas to ensure assigned tasks and duties are completed and company and plant safety, environmental housekeeping standards are maintained. Ensuring production and maintenance are carried out in a safe and efficient manner. Qualifications Engineering Degree (Mechanical or Chemical) Experience Managing a staff in a chemical or chemical related processing environment Professional Engineering Designation Minimum 5 years supervisory Union experience strongly desired Committed to continuous improvement of safety, environment, customer service, operations and quality performance Knowledgeable and effective in the use of standard computer software programs and database systems If you are interested and qualified please forward your updated resume as a WORD attachment to: resumes@coreservicesinc.com | |
