Our client, a leading Manufacturing Company in Concord is currently seeking a CMM Programmer to join their team.
Position: CMM Programmer (Contract position)
Location: Concord, On
Salary: $23.00 - $24.50 Per hour
Responsibilities:
- Must be able to program CMM machines
- In depth knowledge of machining concepts, blue print reading, and
- standard measuring instruments
- Ability to set up and program Mitutoyo Coordinate Measuring
- Machine using GeoMeasure 6000
- Experience implementing and maintaining ISO 9001 based quality
- system
- Ability to operate and program CMM, also scanning; Ability to read and interpret blueprints required
- Knowledge on concepts of the Y14.5M standard.
- Manual use of height gages, blocks and mics as required.
- Experience working with tight tolerances preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- Must have 3-5 years pertinent experience
- Blueprint experience reading
- Knowledge with ISO 9001
- Must boast post secondary diploma/degree and/or relevant working experience
- Must have strong communication skills
