CORE Services is a full-service professional recruitment firm. We partner with medium sized to fortune 500 companies in various industries. One of our leading clients in the construction supplies industry is seeking the following:

Position: Maintenance Technician
Rate: $30-$35 hourly
Location: Barrie, ON
Duration: Permanent, Full-time
Shift: 4 days a week, 10-hour shifts

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED with five years of experience in plant equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and boiler systems, with welding proficiency.
• Ability to perform various trade tasks, including carpentry, plumbing, and metal fabrication.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, ability to work at heights, and lift heavy objects.

Overview:
• Diagnose equipment issues, determine repair methods, and execute necessary repairs.
• Install, assemble, and adjust mechanical components, ensuring proper function.
• Inspect, lubricate, and maintain machinery while repairing or replacing defective parts.
• Operate tools, welding equipment, and follow safety regulations to maintain a clean and secure work environment.
