DESCRIPTION

POSITION: Machine Fitter
SHIFT: Straight day Shift
DURATION: Permanent Full Time Position
LOCATION: Brampton, ON.
SALARY: $28 – $32 per hour

OVERVIEW:

• 3+ years of precision assembly experience.
• Proficient in the use of standard machine shop equipment, including lathes, milling machines, surface grinders, benders, & metal forming tools.
• Experienced with benchwork & manual assembly techniques.
• Experience working with precision optical components is preferred.
• ESD experience is preferred.
• Experience using electronic/pneumatic tools preferred.
• Assemble mechanical, electrical, & optical components in accordance with detailed engineering drawings & company procedures.
• Operate standard hand tools & powered equipment (e.g., torque wrenches, pneumatic/electric screwdrivers, ball drivers) for precision mechanical assembly.
• Execute in-process inspections & basic functional tests throughout the production cycle.
• Troubleshoot & resolve assembly issues by adjusting components or escalating to design engineers.
• Enter production data into internal systems & maintain accurate records.
