POSITION: Plant Manager
STATUS: Permanent, Full-time
SALARY: $130,000-$150,000 + Bonus
LOCATION: Thunderbay, ON – relocation assistance available
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Process Engineering, with 3+ years of paper making experience.
- Requires strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, organizational skills, and proficiency in MS Office.
- Must possess advanced knowledge of paper making processes and troubleshooting abilities.
OVERVIEW:
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and housekeeping standards.
- Supervise machine operations, prioritizing safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Maintain dialogue with unions for continuous improvement and adherence to protocols.
- Facilitate monthly operational and financial assessments to drive enhancements.
